here is my story
Tired. Irritable. Unable to keep up or cope. I began this health journey to become a better mother & a better wife. I just didn't have all the energy I needed to be all the things I wanted to. SO FRUSTRATING!! I felt like I was a prisoner in my own skin. Somewhere trapped inside me was this other girl: An optimistic, fun loving girl who loved to play on the floor with her kids, host impromptu dinner-and-games nights with friends and danced in the kitchen. I had just had my fourth baby. Pregnancy has always been very hard on me, both physically and mentally/emotionally. My bod had been through a lot. No wonder it was rebelling! But I wanted that other girl back. I wanted my body and I to be friends again. Now, entering my sixth month on my journey, I am SO close to meeting my goal! The weight loss has been AWESOME! I love that choosing what to wear each day is no longer about strategic camouflage and is instead about confident self-expression. But the REAL win for me is the confidence I feel in being in control. I am at peace with my body. I finally know how to listen to it. I have finally learned how to bump myself from the bottom of my priority list to the top! I have less stress. I am less overwhelmed. I have energy for my kids. I am sleeping better. I am HAPPIER than I have been in years! And yes - I am a better wife and mother. This plan is not just about losing weight. In fact, that's not even the most important part! This program is about gaining health. Let me ask you a question I honestly asked myself before beginning my journey: If absolute health were really and truly within reach, would you take it? What would you do with it? How would it change *your* life?
